Training courses which lasted for 17 days from October 9th to 25th were conducted in Zhengzhou University, one of the national intellectual property training bases. Director of Henan IP Office Guo Minsheng and Vice Chancellor of the university Gao Danying attended and addressed the opening ceremony of the training. About 90 IP practitioners in the province participated in the training.

Guo highlighted the importance of building a strong patent agent team. He said that according to statistics of the State Intellectual Property Office, the growth rate of domestic patent applications retains more than 20% for about ten successive years, and the rate in Henan has always been higher than the national average level. Guo expected those trainees to seize this learning opportunity to get excellent scores in the upcoming exam.
