Sichuan: Chengdu IPO launched administrative patent enforcement

Days ago, Chengdu Municipal Intellectual Property Office (IPO) dispatched over 20 administrative patent enforcers from establishments on provincial, city and district levels to inspect Jiulong Supermarket located in Chongzhou City.

The law enforcers inspected more than 2,000 commodities including small appliances and subsidiary foodstuff and recorded and searched the 22 commodities bearing patent signs. The law enforcers put forward corrective recommendations for the wrongs. Next, the law enforcers will investigate those commodities suspected of counterfeit patents in a bid to safeguard normal market order.
