Anshun, a city in Guizhou province, was identified as one of the national IP demonstration cities in 2010. Two years later, it has succeeded in passing the examination on its performance in promoting intellectual property development.

The appraisal committee noted that the city's core competitiveness in intellectual property has been significantly improved since 2010 due to the gigantic efforts made by local authorities through reinforcing patent enforcement, enhancing public IP awareness, and increasing financial investment.

Meanwhile, the city is expected to continue its momentum in further promoting the combination of patent implementation and economic development.
