2012/08/15

The Intellectual Property Office of Yunfu, a city in southeast China's Guangdong province, and its district subsidiary jointly conducted a patent enforcement campaign on August 8th.

Five officials were dispatched to investigate more than 300 items including drugs, food, wine and daily necessities in three drug stores and one supermarket. During the campaign, officials detained six items of one kind, which were suspected to be counterfeit patents, and educated business operators and salesmen about issues on patent marks and patent search. Meanwhile, store owners were required to double check supplied goods to prevent fakes from entering  circulation field.
