SURVEY ON GLOBAL IP SERVICE AGENCIES KICKS OFF
With the rapid growth of knowledge-based economy and quickened development of world economic integration, the amount of transnational IP application and dispute have both increased, which means the demand for corresponding IP services has soared dramatically. Therefore, some outstanding international IP agencies and law firms have emerged prominently with the fast growth of foreign IP related business. At the meantime, Chinese market will be fully opened to the world gradually, Chinese enterprises are accelerating their internationalization pace, and thus a growing number of international IP service agencies are turning their eyes to China.
To this end, Survey on Global IP Service Agencies, a joint effort by China IP and China Daily, was officially launched. The following information of the international IP service agency is included in this survey: strength, scale, personnel structure, featured services, promotion mode and China-related business status, etc. We will arrive at a conclusion on statistics of full aspects of these agencies and their comprehensive ranking of China-related business in the industry. The conclusion will be based on detailed investigation and statistics, as well as reference to existing statistics and industry experts’ comprehensive evaluations. Results of this project will be released on China IP’s New Year’s Annual Meeting through a number of media.
The survey will be published on a special column in China IP Magazine and its official website, China Daily-IP Special, China Daily-IPR channel and also China IP’s Sina MicroBlog. Besides extensive collection of data, China IP will also interview some figures of relevant agencies and publish graphical reports. Results of this survey will be complied and published through various media channels. At the end of this year, we will hold a high-level forum to evaluate and promote the outstanding agencies.
