Guizhou: IPR enforcement group to be established in Liupanshui to beef up IPR protection

A patent enforcement group is to be set up under the municipal IP office of Liupanshui in Guizhou Province, reported the city's Commission Office for Public Sector Reform. The enforcement group will be responsible for the mediation and handling of patent disputes and cases regarding fake patents and will also take care of the organization and coordination in cross-regional patent enforcement actions.

It is expected that the enforcement group will play a positive role in stepping up IPR protection and therefore facilitate to maintain a fair play in business market.
