Jiangsu:Patent-collateral loans

Changzhou-headquartered JiangnanRural Commercial Bank granted its fi rstpatent-collateralized loan at the end of lastmonth.

It extended 12 million yuan in loans tolocal high-tech company Lianli AutomationTechnology. Founded in 2001, the companyspecializes in power supplies used in coalmines, automated controls and telecommunications. It has been granted 25 patents onits proprietary technologies.

Jiangnan Bank, China’s fi rst city-levelrural commercial bank, says its programoff ers high limits and convenient proceduresfor patent-backed loans.
