A delegation led by Lu Qingbiao, Deputy Director of Administration of Press and Publication (Copyright Bureau) of Guangdong Province, paid an inspection tour to Huizhou, a city located in the southeastern part of Guangdong Province, to check its performance in combating IP infringements and counterfeiting as well as in promoting software legalization.
After listening to reports by local public institutions and enterprises, the delegation affirmed the accomplishments achieved in the past, and also required the city to further establish and improve a permanent mechanism to effectively oversee the intellectual property protection in cultural markets. Meanwhile, Huizhou was urged to attach great attention to law enforcement and inter-departmental coordination.
In response, the city vowed to continue with the efforts in implementing the deployment of central and provincial governments, and tackling serious IP cases and violations to safeguard a sound market order.
