On June 19, a delegation led by Zeng Zhihua, head of the Documentation Department under the State Intellectual Property Office, inspected Liaoning IPO for patent information distribution and utilization.

Wang Jie, Deputy Director of Liaoning IPO, introduced current achievements, existing problems and working plans in an informal discussion with the delegation.

Zeng confirmed the progress and encouraged them to further promote the project where a specialized database was established to research on patent strategies. He also proposed requirements and expectations for the next phase of work for Liaoning IPO.

The delegation also paid a visit to Liaoning IP Information Center. After listening to the working reports by the center's head, Zeng proposed specific requirements on the management and maintenance of the patent database and its servers.
