Qingdao: Working conference on enhancing IP protection in strategic emerging industries convened

In a bid to further promote intellectual property protection in strategic emerging industries, Qingdao has recently convened a working conference to study the guiding principles of Several Opinions on Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection in Strategic Emerging Industries Forwarded by the General Office of the State Council and make arrangement for the next phase of work.

Wang Guangzheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, attended and addressed the meeting.

Wang urged relevant authorities to launch special patent projects, issue incentive policies to boost the development of the industries, increase the IP utilization competence of innovation creators by holding workshops and create a sound legal environment where intellectual property rights are well defended.
