Fujian: Enterprises stimulated to file their first-ever invention patent applications

In an attempt to increase the invention patents held by every ten thousand residents and enhance the core competitiveness of local enterprises, authorities in Fujian province have adopted several measures to encourage enterprises participating in research and development activities but with no invention patent filings to submit their first-ever patent applications for inventions. Those measures included enhancing policy dissemination and talent cultivation, assisting enterprises to establish IP management systems, providing professional commissioning services, and supervising the funding awarded to the first-ever invention patent.
