Shandong: Jinan conducts patent enforcement inspection

Jinan Municipal Intellectual Property Office conducted patent enforcement inspection on leading shopping malls, supermarkets and other commodity circulation fields, including Silver Plaza, RT-Mart, Wal-Mart and Jiajia Yue Supermarkets. Law enforcement officials picked out random samples for examination.

More than 100 items bearing patent labels were registered and documented. Law enforcement officials identified goods suspected of violating patent law and sent legal instrument to supermarkets. In addition, they delivered IPR protection knowledge to stakeholders and guided them to improve management system and registration system of patented goods so as to restrain counterfeiting at its source and maintain a sound IPR market order.
