Three major IP projects including cultivating IP demonstration enterprises, fostering IP talents and establishing IP public service platforms are going to be carried out this year to further promote IP development and help Xiangtan City to be recognized as one of the national IP exemplary cities.

The city's extensive enforcement of IP strategies last year leads to an improved IP environment and significant achievements made in the special campaign on cracking down upon IPR violations and counterfeiting.

Vice mayor Yang Guang said that local authorities should join efforts to vigorously promote the implementation of IP strategies and enhance the crackdown on IP violations. He also required them to intensify efforts to build the city into a national IP exemplary city and strive to stimulate the transformation of economic development mode.
