Guangdong: Valid registered trademarks in Shantou reaching 76,765

As of the end of last year, valid registered trademarks in Shantou, a city in Guangdong province, have recorded 76,765 with 11,684 newly added last year, which made the city play a leading role in this regard in the province.

It is also worth mentioning that in 2011, the city newly added one collective trademark, two Chinese Well-known Trademarks and 21 Guangdong Famous Trademarks. 67 expiring Guangdong Famous Trademarks passed the reexamination process.

As of now, the city has owned a total of 17 Chinese Well-known Trademarks and 233 Guangdong Famous Trademarks, topping all the other municipalities in the province in this aspect.
