Recently, the amended Patent Provision of Shaanxi was reviewed and passed in the eighth executive meeting convened by the provincial government.

The Provision includes six chapters and fifty-three articles, extensively stipulating legal liability, protecting measures and the creation, utilization, protection and administration of patent.

Drafted by the provincial IP Office in 2011, the amended Provision was reviewed by related governmental departments, local enterprises, academies, social organizations, inventors and the public before being released.
