Recently, the municipalities including Chenzhou, Yiyang and Zhuzhou in Hunan Province have separately issued working plans and set up leading groups to further crack down upon intellectual property rights violations.
The leading group in Chenzhou, headed by its vice mayor Zhang Xihui, has been joined by officials from 27 related departments and issued a Working Program on combating IPR violations and counterfeiting.
While in Yiyang, officials and leaders from 20 local authorities formed its working group and also issued a similar working program.
The situation in Zhuzhou is almost the same. A leading group was established by officials from 27 departments and an effective IP protection plan was duly formulated.
