On May 3, Jinan City of Shandong Province held a conference for IPO directors. The meeting summed up the work in the past and deployed tasks for the near future. Deputy Director of Jinan IPO Zhang Chunli chaired the conference.

At the conference, the Plan on 2012 Jinan IPR Enforcement Action was disclosed, Measures on Evaluating Patent Administrative Enforcement and Right Safeguarding Assistance Work was unscrambled and issues related to the patent agent qualification test were released. The participants exchanged views on administrative enforcement, right safeguarding and assistance and patent applications (especially invention patent applications). The meeting also arranged the work related to local IPR enforcement action, the improvement of patent applications and examination affairs related to national patent agent test.
