Recently, deputy director of Jiangsu Administration for Industry and Commerce He Shoutian attended and addressed the meeting convened in Wuxi to promote the implementation of trademark strategies in local enterprises.
More than 200 officials from the local bureaus of the Administration, the Department of Commerce of Jiangsu province and Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission as well as representatives from 174 enterprises owning well-known and famous trademarks participated in the meeting.
23 enterprises doing excellent job in filing international trademark applications were commended at the meeting. 3 representatives from those enterprises shared their successful experiences.
He said in his speech that the government has attached great importance to trademark strategies and brand building. Enterprises in the province have been urged to enhance the cultivation, creation, utilization, protection and management of trademarks, and increase the value of self-owned trademarks in a bid to strengthen the comprehensive competitiveness of the province.
He highlighted that economic development mode transformation required a rapid growth of brand economy. The implementation of trademark strategies is the key to the brand economy development, and also a crucial part of national intellectual property strategies. In international trade, trademark strategies could ensure significant development of enterprises. Currently, Jiangsu has provided a sound environment for enterprises to enforce their trademark strategies and build self-owned brands.
