Zhejiang: Symposium on patent regulations of the U.S.A. held in Hangzhou

Zhejiang Provincial Intellectual Property Office and Hangzhou Municipal Intellectual Property Office co-hosted a symposium on how to deal with intellectual property litigations in the U.S.A.

Ray W. Hardin, partner of Locke Lord LLP, and senior consultant Chen Zunxuan made keynote speeches at the symposium on litigation channels and procedures as well as patent reexamination process in the U.S.A.

40 attendees from the two IP offices, local enterprises and IP agencies participated in the symposium.

As a part of the efforts of the province to communicate with overseas peers on intellectual property issues, the symposium will help enhance the IP communications and cooperation between the two countries, assist local enterprises to better understand the patent litigation procedures in the U.S.A and strengthen the capability of local enterprises to deal with overseas IP disputes. [Chinese version is available on sipo.gov.cn]
