On March 16, Tianjin authority convened an IP meeting to conclude the work of 2011 and make a deployment for 2012, where patent award winners of 2011 were recognized and the second batch of 25 patent demonstration bodies were unveiled. Vice Major Wang Zhiping attended and addressed the meeting.
In 2011, the IP creation capacity of Tianjin greatly improved, which was reflected in the increase of patent quality and quantity; innovation subjects tended to be optimized and new products generated more value.Li Zhiping proposed to give a clear direction to IP work, open reasonable disciplines in colleges and universities, set up more research platforms and provide more policy support.
