There is no intellectual property dispute on high-speed rail (HSR) technology between China and other countries, said Huang Qiang, chief researcher of China Academy of Railway Sciences and member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference in an interview on Mar.8.
The indigenous innovations on Chinese HSR are widely recognized by other countries in the world, according to Huang.
He introduced that every part of the HSR system must coordinate smoothly with each other. Only the research talents responsible for designing the whole system could manage it well, therefore, there is no way for anyone to steal others’ intellectual property in this regard.
Huang stated Chinese HSR had gone through a series of complicated processes including studies on project feasibility, program design, experimental verification and debugging.
Although China now owns the advanced HSR technology, there is still much room to improve, warned Huang.
