Zibo Municipal Intellectual Property Office in Shandong province released the IP Key Work of Zibo in 2012 (the "Key Work"), which outlines the IP guiding theory, primary objectives and work focuses and will be distributed to each district and county of Zibo for implementation.

According to the Key Work, the IP work in 2012 will focus on implementing national, provincial and municipal IP strategies, improving IP policies and regulations, intensifying IP macro management, strengthening IPR protection and IP training, perfecting IP service system and raising IP creation, utilization, protection and administration, with an aim to provide a strong support for the economic and social development of Zibo.

The Key Work lists the following five work focuses: to implement IP strategies to create a sound IP environment, improve IP creativity by all means, establish long-term mechanisms to strengthen IPR protection, advance management service to improve IP working efficiency and increase publicity and training to raise the public IPR awareness.
