In a bid to enhance the patent creation, utilization, administration and protection as well as step up the patent development and commercialization, Liaoyuan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau decided to conduct a one-year patent-service activity to support local enterprises.

The Bureau plans to further increase enterprises’ patent awareness by conducting trainings and seminars. It also aims to combine the dissemination of patent laws and regulations with basic knowledge on patent filings and protection.

The Bureau tends to assist enterprises to establish and improve patent working mechanisms, while enterprises are also encouraged to create innovations and generate patented technology and products. Meanwhile, enterprises are educated to curb IP theft and counterfeit commodities.
