The notice on launching the selection of "Shanghai innovative enterprises" of 2012 , jointly issued by Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Municipal State-owned Assets Administration Commission, Municipal Intellectual Property Office and Zhangjiang High-tech Park Administrative Committee, provides to select out a batch of "Shanghai innovative enterprises of 2012".

The notice requires enterprises filing applications satisfy the following requirements: R&D expenditure in 2011 should meet a certain standard; the core technology in major products or services should own indigenous intellectual property through independent research, transfer, donation, merger and acquisition and other ways in the recent 3 years, or by possessing exclusive license for more than 5 years; new products (crafts or services) were introduced in the past 3 years;  independent R&D institutions were set up; the sales income in 2011 exceeded 50 million yuan.
