Guangdong fiercely combating malicious patent infringements

2012/03/07

A working conference of intellectual property authorities in Guangdong Province was held in Guangzhou on February 28 to make deployment for a special action against malicious patent infringements.

It is known that the action will target repeated, organized and malicious patent infringements as well as serious counterfeiting crimes, with enforcement groups ready to investigate major goods trafficking areas such as trade fairs and markets. A wide range of products, such as bags, food, drugs, daily cosmetics, liquor, salt, cigarettes, building materials, communication products, auto parts and agricultural materials, will be covered by the investigation, which aims to discover and conclude cases that have aroused massive complaints and deter offenders.
