Yang Tiejun, Deputy Commissioner of China's State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) met with a U.S. delegation led by Randall R. Rader, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, on February 10.
Yang expressed the regards from SIPO's Commissioner Tian Lipu at the beginning and welcomed the judge's visit to China again. Given the good relationship and partnership between SIPO and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, further exchange on IPR topics will continually enhance mutual understanding in the key sector, he said. Randall R. Rader appreciated the reception by Yang and also expressed the desire for deeper communication.
During the meeting, the two parties exchanged opinions on other topics as well, such as holding seminars in China and enhancing Sino-US IPR dialogues. Yang also introduced SIPO's work on patent review.
