Shanghai: Patent applications surpassing 80,000

2012/02/01

In 2011, patent applications in Shanghai reached 80,215, up 12.7% over the previous year.

Particularly, invention patent applications recorded 32,142, up 22.8%; utility model applications reached 30,926, up 33.4% and design applications amounted to17,147, down 21.5%.
