Qingdao will open a website targeting copyright protection

Qingdao city has established the first-ever copyright protection association in Shandong province. The association will soon open a corresponding website and launch an education base.

According to the association's working plan, Qingdao copyright protection website www.QCPA.org.cn will be open on February, 2012, which aims at publishing regular copyright news and absorbing members so as to achieve a synchronous running of network and off-line channels. The education base mainly targets at primary and middle school students and features a series of invention-creation and copyright protection activities so as to enhance the young people's innovation awareness and copyright protection awareness. The outstanding schools and students will be awarded titles of "Copyright Protection Education Base" and "Copyright Protection Guardian".

In addition, the association will launch "monthly training" and recruit volunteers. On the copyright protection day of April 26, the association will introduce publicity activities to increase the society's copyright protection awareness and recognition.
