With the rapid development of hi-tech industry and the upgrading of traditional industries, IP service in Chongqing City experienced fast development. The journalist learnt from Chongqing Municipal Intellectual Property Office on January 3 that Chongqing has formed its own IP service system and become the model in Western China.
Nowadays, Chongqing has built a motorbike (motor car) IP information service platform, set up IP service windows for industry cluster, constructed IP service base and also set up copyright service working station in Chongqing Xiyong Micro-Electronics Industrial Park, Wulidian Industry Design Center and Chongqing Writers’ Association.
Besides, Chongqing built patent information service center in Western China and made a regional S&T transformation platform, i.e. Chongqing Hi-Tech Fair and International Exhibition of Military & Civil Technologies.
Chongqing Municipal Intellectual Property Office together with the Municipal Science Committee, the Municipal Finance Bureau and the Municipal Banking Regulatory Bureau printed and distributed Interim Measures on IP Pledge Loan Discount of Chongqing and created advanced IP investment and financing system.
According to the statistics provided by Chongqing Municipal Intellectual Property Office, Chongqing energetically supports the development of the main body in IP market. At present, 458 law firms in the whole city can deal with business related to trademarks, patents, copyrights and others.
It is informed that the patent agencies have increased to 14 from 8 at the end of the Tenth Five-Year Plan, full time patent agents grew to 64, and patent acting rate reached 70%; trademark agencies added to 134 from 30 at the end of the Tenth Five-Year Plan.
Moreover, Chongqing still built a group of IP service bases and hi-tech enterprise incubator system, tried to build IP service system for overseas right safeguarding system and investment, bettered the protection policies of foreign related enterprises’ intellectual property rights, explored patent strategic analysis and reinforced IP service for strategic emerging industries.
Today, Chongqing has finished patent analysis for the industries including bio-medicine, instrumentation, wind-powered electricity generation, photovoltaic power generation, new energy automobile, new material, communication equipment, High-performance integrated circuits, track traffic and environmental protection equipment.
