Shandong: Yantai added 11 Chinese well-known trademarks

In 2011, Yantai, a city in Shandong province has added 11 Chinese well-known trademarks and 60 Shandong Famous Trademarks, according to information released by Yantai Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce on December 27.

During this year, the municipal administration conducted a series of rectification activities on combating counterfeit and pirated products, and also coordinated with the administrations for industry and commerce at national and provincial levels to enhance trademark protection and solve IP cases.

As of now, the city has owned a total of 23,000 trademarks, in which, 23 are geographical indications, 52 are Chinese well-known trademarks and 324 are Shandong Famous Trademarks. [Chinese version is available on qlwb.com.cn]
