As of now, patent applications in Yinchuan have reached 504, accounting for 59.3% of that in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of China; patent grants are 312, accounting for 56.6% of the total grants in that region.　

Yinchuan has taken three steps to promote patent work, namely, to conduct door-to-door service, to organize lectures and trainings and to subsidize patent applications.
