Patent applications in Huai'an hit historic high record

In the first eleven months this year, patent applications in Huai'an reached 6,497, up 46.69%, in which applications on inventions amounted to 884, up 65.54%. 

The city has not only achieved great progress in application amount but also in quality. The issued patents in the city reached 1,819, up 60.12%, in which, patent grants on inventions accumulated to 210, up 50%.

Patent is seen as an important indication of creative capacity of enterprises. This year, the municipal intellectual property office has constantly promoted IP strategies and enhanced dissemination on IP subsidy policies, effectively stepping up patent development in the city. [Chinese version is available on news.hynews.net]
