The national IPR conference for enterprises and institutions was convened in Nanchang on December 23, urging relevant departments to attach great importance to the implementation of patent strategies, use patents to drive the development of emerging industries and promote the transformation of development mode of enterprises.
With the deepening of national reform and opening-up policies, industrial structures were in an urgent need to be adjusted. New development situation also required enterprises and institutions to step up their IPR development.
The meeting required relevant departments to further improve cultivation and support policies by using service mechanisms to help enterprises in emerging industries to speed up the building of patent utilization and transformation platforms, guide them to establish patent alliances, and promote the combination of patent systems and market economy.
The State Intellectual Property Office also highly appreciated the efforts in setting up IPR pilot systems in Jiangxi province. Currently, the province has four national IPR pilot cities, one national IPR demonstration industrial park, and two national IPR exemplary enterprises.
In addition, seventeen national IPR pilot enterprises, fifteen provincial IPR pilot enterprises and seven IPR pilot state-owned enterprises all realized the set-up IP development goals, reflected in strengthened IPR utilization capacity and substantial increased self-owned IPR filings.
