Anhui: Hefei adds new ICH projects and inheritors

2011/12/26

The second batch of municipal-level ICH inheritors and the third batch of municipal-level ICH projects have been identified. 16 projects including Luyang Cotton Prints and 17 inheritors such as Papercutter Ge Chongyun are incorporated into respective lists.

As of now, there are 42 ICH projects above Hefei municipal level, including 12 ICH projects and 16 ICH inheritors above the provincial level. It is introduced that Hefei will strengthen ICH protection. While conducting ICH examination, registration, financing and supporting, Hefei will bring intangible culture to the public. [Chinese version is available on Hefei Daily]
