Guangzhou grants Mayor Awards on IPR

Winners of the first Guangzhou IPR Mayor Awards were announced in a local ceremony on December 19, with Guangzhou Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd defeating other nine competitors and winning the first prize of 500 thousand yuan.

This is the first-ever mayor award on IPR protection in Guangzhou, and even in China. The rewards, which are 500 thousand, 300 thousand and 100 thousand yuan respectively for the first to third prizes, are designed to be given to organizations and individuals that have made significant contributions to IPR protection, rights safeguard and enforcement.[Chinese version is available on nfdaily.cn]
