Sichuan: Ziyang made a progress in trademark strategy implementation

After the promulgation of the Interim Provisions of the Recognition and Protection of Famous Trademarks in Ziyang on November 1st, a municipal famous trademark accreditation committee was duly formed on December 6th. Since then, trademark promotions have been more standardized within the existing legal framework.

In 2011, the city has taken a series of measures to foster a wide rage of competitive products made in Ziyang as well as branded services. Furthermore, the city has been recognized as a provincial trademark strategy implementation demonstration city with two China Well-known Trademarks and five Sichuan Famous Trademarks newly added.

As of now, the city has owned a total of 3,973 trademark registrations, 10 China Well-known Trademarks, 35 Sichuan Famous Trademarks, and 68 Ziyang Renowned Trademarks.
