Zhejiang: Lanxi fulfills its invention patent goal in advance

According to the latest statistics released by the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), as of December 14, 2011, Lanxi city of Zhejiang province has obtained 23 invention patent grants, overfulfilling the annual goal of 20 grants scheduled by the higher authority and increasing by 91.6% over the same period of 2010.

Lanxi has taken a series of measures to improve patent work, such as enhancing publicity and consulting service. Enterprises and society as a whole paid more attention to patent application. Meanwhile, staff from the science and technology departments actively visited enterprises to provide consultation on intellectual property and guide them to submit applications for high-tech enterprise status.
