Shanxi: Patent law dissemination initiatives conducted

Jinzhong Municipal Science and Technology Bureau disseminated patent laws to the public by conducting a series of activities to mark the Legal Publicity Day on December 4.

During the event, the Bureau focused on several patent-related laws and provisions including the Patent Law and the ordinance on enforcing and protecting patents in Shanxi.

Officials distributed thousands of IPR leaflets to passersby, delineating a wide range of issues regarding people’s vital interests such as responsibilities of the Bureau, patent application procedures and policies on patent subsidies.

As an important way to enhance IPR dissemination, the event held this year aimed to practically facilitate the transformation of the economic growth mode, maintain the social harmony and stability, and promote the city’s legal development.
