Anhui fighting against piracy and infringement in special campaign

A commendation meeting on copyright enforcement in Anhui province was held in Chuzhou city on November 30 and December 1. During the special campaign, Anhui uncovered one of the national top ten cases of 2010---"74yy.com" music copyright infringement case. A number of involved units and individuals were thus awarded by the National Copyright Administration.

During the special campaign against IPR infringement and counterfeiting, Anhui dispatched 82,00 inspectors, clamped down on 50 illegal sites, confiscated 150,000 volumes of illegal publications and 130,000 discs of pirated audiovisual products, investigated 8 online infringement cases and 12 illegal publication cases and transferred 12 cases to judicial organs.

Advanced units and individuals standing out in copyright law enforcement were awarded on the meeting.
