Recently, an intellectual property training was held in the development zone of Liang County in Shijiazhuang city. Officials responsible for intellectual property management from over 30 small- and medium-sized enterprises in the zone participated in the training.
Ma Huitian, deputy commissioner of the municipal intellectual property office stressed the importance of intellectual property. An official from the city's patent and trademark agency explicated issues on basic patent definitions, patent application process and intellectual property trusteeship.
The intellectual property office well understood the IP needs of SMEs through this training and would provide better service to help them promote IP development.
