On November 22, Deputy Director of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) Yang Tiejun met with Deputy Director of Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property Felix Addor and his delegation. Both sides introduced each other's latest IP work and hoped to further the cooperation.
Yang Tiejun welcomed their visit to SIPO. He said as China and Switzerland maintain a stable relationship especially in economic and trade, scientific and technological as well as cultural fields, enhancing IPR cooperation will facilitate such ties.Addor expressed his commendation over IPR cooperation between both sides and thought that China and Switzerland should enhance cooperation to cope with future challenges in innovation sector.
In addition, both sides also discussed the utilization of experiment data and the examination of biotechnology and related patents.
