On October 24, Changchun government convened its 45th standing meeting hosted by the Mayor Cui Jie. 

The meeting discussed and passed the city's second intangible cultural heritage list including 9 items in 5 classes such as Dong Congren Straw Art and Liang's medical massage skill.

Since the first ICH list was published in 2009, items in the list have been effectively protected.

Nevertheless, more other ICH items are waiting to be explored and protected.

Relevant departments are required to formulate a clear review standard and carefully conduct the accreditation procedure in line with the standard so that ICH items could be properly protected and carried on and on. [Chinese version is available on ccrb.1news.cc]
