Recently, Jiangsu governmental IP departments hosted a seminar attended by local US-funded enterprises to resolve problems encountered by these enterprises. Copies of the Chinese-English version of the guidance on registration and protection of the intellectual property rights of Jiangsu foreign-funded enterprises were handed out to attendees.
The seminar sought to advance the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Jiangsu province and USPTO and provide better IP service to local US-funded enterprises.
Attendees communicated with each other on patent and trademark protection at the seminar.
Meanwhile, the liaison officials of main member departments discussed and proposed to improve IP administration system and protect rights in line with relevant provisions.[Chinese version is available on xhby.net]
