Shanghai is drafting the Famous Trademark Protection Measures to standardize the identification and protection of famous trademarks, which is of great significance to protect the legal rights of trademark holders, advance the implementation of trademark strategies and promote economic development.
Shanghai government is seeking advice from local citizens and related departments. It will convene hearings on the Draft in late December, 2011. Divergent issues will be discussed.
