2011/10/21

To standardize the utilization and administration of ceramic patents, a law enforcement group led by Jingdezhen Science and Technology Bureau and participated by Jingdezhen Porcelain Bureau and Jingdezhen Intermediate People's Court conducted a patrol on the patent law enforcement in ceramic markets including Jinchangli Ceramic Market and Guomao Square. Such a patrol action helped improving the patent protection awareness of ceramic operators and curbing patent violations.

The patrol group registered the name, manufacturer, agent and patent number of each patented ceramic product. It was found that some operators put patent number on non-patented products while other operators had no valid certificates to prove their patented products. Law enforcement officials warn them to attach attention to patent violations.

It is introduced that entities in Jingdezhen annually files over 300 patent applications and obtains 200 patent grants, of which ceramic products take a large share. [Chinese version is available on ctaoci.com]
