Gansu providing IP services to local businesses

Gansu Intellectual Property Affairs Center dispatched 20 officials to Hexi district and Longdong district to provide IP services.

After visiting 50 businesses including Jinchuan Group and Baye Group, officials better understood the need of businesses on IP creation, utilization and protection. They discussed with business executives and technicians on exploring technical innovations, filing patent applications and conducting IP protection and commercialization. More than 150 patent applications were raised during a survey on high-tech innovations.

Invited by Jiayuguan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Center hosted a patent training for businesses in Jiayuguan area. The Center learnt from such activities what businesses really need in terms of IP. [
