Xianyang City in Shaanxi Province has enhanced law enforcement and advanced the investigation of cases since the launch of the special campaign against infringing and counterfeiting.

Remarkable results have been made. It recorded a dispatch of law enforcement staff for 31,000 person-times. The administrative law enforcement departments filed 725 cases and transferred 21 of them to judicial organs, confiscated more than 3,000 pieces of goods valued at 11,110,000 yuan. The local public security organs uncovered 18 cases involving 21,030,000 yuan and the courts approved to arrest 33 suspects in 6 cases of them.

The special campaign strengthened public's understanding on the importance of crackdown on IPR infringements and sales and production of counterfeits, effectively deterred crimes,  enhanced IPR utilization, regulated market order and laid a solid foundation for establishing a long-term supervision mechanism.
