In order to guide enterprises to increase brand awareness and improve rights protection capabilities, Chongqing Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce will vigorously support businesses to implement trademark strategy during the period of the "12th Five-year Plan". As of the end of 2015, it is set to hold "Trademark Law Lecture" for 20 times. Recently, under the support of SAIC, Chongqing Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce, jointly with Southwest University of Political Science and Law, held a special training themed Trademark International Registration and Overseas Intellectual Property Protection. Representatives from the city's nearly 200 key export-oriented enterprises participated in the two-day training, which marks an official beginning of the Trademark Law Lecture training series.

The training covers a wide scope, geared to the needs of various small and medium sized enterprises, micro enterprise, enterprises with potential trademark advantages, export-oriented enterprises and rural economic organizations.

The training highlights comprehensive contents, covering trademark registration, recognition and protection of well-known trademarks, registration and management of geographical indications, international trademark registration, overseas intellectual property protection and trademark pledge financing and also including the whole process of trademark registration, utilization, protection and administration.

The training features flexibility in modes of execution. Combing the requirements of trademark strategy with the characteristics each enterprise represents, organizing committee conduct a variety of trainings, lectures, forums and seminars.
