Jiangsu: Five arts newly identified as ICH

Five arts in Huai'an, a city in Jiangsu province, including Jinhu Papercut, are newly incorporated into the list of intangible cultural heritage at provincial level.

The city has attached great importance to ICH protection and established a sound mechanism on developing folk crafts.

It has also strived to increase the protection awareness by conducting a series of activities, such as holding photography exhibitions and disseminating laws and regulations.
