Co-sponsored by China Trademark Association and Chengdu Municipal Government, the Fourth China Trademark Festival opened in Chengdu, capital city of Sichuan Province. With a theme of "Trademark Leading Development and Innovation Beautifying Life", it attracted well-known intellectual property experts, who delivered keynote speeches, discussed trademark cooperation and development and shared the most forward-looking and practical trademark information.China's leading dairy enterprise Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd. also participated in the trademark festival and won public attention.
Reportedly, China has been universally recognized as the biggest trademark country. Trademark applications, registrations and valid registered trademarks all rank first in the world. However, when compared with developed countries, China still can not be called a trademark power. How can the biggest trademark country develop into a trademark power? Yili sets an example.
Yili is committed to becoming a world-class healthy dairy group. In 1999, "伊利" trademark was approved as China Well-known Trademark by the Administration for Industry and Commerce. In November 2005, Yili Group passed certification of the highest standards worldwide and became China’s first and only dairy products manufacturer that meet requirements of Olympic Games. On May 25, 2009, Yili was appointed as the only dairy products supplier of Expo 2010 Shanghai by relying on high product quality, perfect distribution network, innovative technologies and good enterprise profile for social responsibility. After providing services successfully to Beijing Olympic Games and Expo 2010 Shanghai, Yili has become a world-class famous trademark.
Yili's trademark upgrading is an overall upgrading in brands, products, services and concepts. Companies have to care for their brand image and continue to maintain product quality. Only adopting international standards in every aspect of the whole industry chain, can trademark upgrading be accomplished.
